8 Hard Rock Songs - Troy Stetina Page Two

Instead we go back and forth just to prove we need all these people to record a guitar lesson?

Please show me both hands all the time. What is wrong with you? Back and forth left and right my eyes get tired.

Dear Camera Personages Do you even play guitar? I mean seriously! It is during the performance section of these guitar lessons where this type of overly anxious artsy fartsy unnecessary camera work happens. Again and Again! Sheesh!

Thankfully things quiet down during the 'break it all down' parts of the lesson and ironically the best shot is the screen in screen one - the smallest. You can see both hands too!

So if you don't already have the pedals and/or amplifier think about a new combo amp with effects for $135. You should think about buying a Roland Cube! Its solid state amp and not a tube amp. That's why its so inexpensive but as Pantera's Dime Bag Darryl said "I don't need tubes to get my sound".

What I am trying to impress into your understanding is that, in my opinion, to more fully enjoy this lesson, you need the effects Troy is using to attain or approximate the God like power of his metal style. You knew that!

Used to be you ran out and bought a distortion pedal or three and blew yourself away! These days there are these new mini amps with effects designed for learners and the more you spend the more toys you get on board. Worth checking out if you are in the market.
