Rock & Roll Rhythm Guitar Lesson Amos Garrett Page One

If you are just starting out on electric guitar this is a great introduction to the rhythm styles of some of the most influential band leaders and players including Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, James Brown, Steve Cropper and Albert King.

A lot of straight eighths rock and roll, variations, embellishments and a few licks you definitely want to cop! You can't go wrong really.

To tell you the truth I had never heard of Amos Garrett but bought the lesson as part of my search for guitar rhythm instruction and I feel vindicated.

Amos' style appears deceptively simple and the notes and chords he plays are few too! But its the way he plays them in a laid back lets have a good time feel that make this a really accessible Guitar lesson. Our instructor also seems more than willing to give us the benefit of his many years of experience playing this kind of music. He explains well and often.

Amos assumes that you want to play in a club at at some point and have people dancing to your music so that is the kind of music he is focusing on in this Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues Guitar lesson.

Another big plus is that the format switches between Amos by himself breaking down specific styles, chops, grooves or what have you and things that have just been played by him and his great back up band.
