Acoustic Rock - Doug Boduch Page Two

The third song called Drive is a flat picker by Incubus. You can learn this.

The fourth song Dust in the Wind by Kansas is a classic finger picker, a great song but so over played I never want to hear it again but what do I know?

The 5th song is by the Goo Goo Dolls called Iris and is in open an tuning: a B note on the 6th string, D on the 5th, 4th string stays D, third to D, second to D. 1st to D. He plays it with a flat pick. Interesting and innovative if you like this sort of thing.

The 6th song is More than Words by Extreme - slack tuning or a half step flat. SRV and Jimi Hendrix tuning but a finger picker!

The 7th song, Norwegian Wood is a Beatles tune with a 6/8ths feel with a capo at the second fret. Great Song, huge hit off Rubber Soul.

The 8th song, Silent Lucidity is a Queensryche progressive tune with finger picking.

The Guitar Techniques section is 10 minutes long and totally inadequate for a beginner. Has some finger exercises that will confuse the hell out of you if you don't know jack. There are far better introduction to finger picking I review. If you are crazy about a song here then go for it but you have been advised what awaits you. I like Doug Boduch he seems like a nice guy and is a really good player but  I never would have bought this if I had really know about the extent of the finger style required within and they do not mention it anywhere on the casing.  Is that really fair? 1hr, 36 min.
