
Jim Weider is right there playing with him and Jim has to be one of the best all round guitar players I have come across via all these guitar lessons. Jim replaced Robbie Robertson in the Band. Jim also has some very praise worthy guitar instructionals that I will review so look for them.
The difference between this lesson and the Complete Guide to Rhythm Guitar is the focus. Amos goes deeper into the fewer styles than the broader themed Complete Guide.
I would buy the later over the former if this was my very first exposure to guitar learning. I would also buy Rhythm Styles and Techniques by Richard Smith which is more smooth jazz/ R&B focused it will teach you about 16th notes and counting, accenting, and also has a section on James Brown. But this particular lesson is unique as you can see below.
